It turns out Windows is pretty good at managing its own display with good quality. Finally, I tried “Best for external displays.” I guess this essentially lets Windows more directly manage the display than the other two, and indeed, this option is exponentially better/clearer in my configuration.
So then I tried “Scaled” on Parallels config, and it seemed slightly better.
I tried tweaking with all the usual stuff in Windows, but it remained fuzzy. I believe that the 5K display qualifies as “Retina,” but it just doesn’t work. And the default sounds best (Best for Retina display), but in this case it isn’t. You’d think it’d have the best options as the default, but not in this case.
